From Extraction to Circulation
From extraction to circulation: A Pan-African blockchain reparations framework connecting Black diaspora, African nations, and Asian partners.

To Ambassadors of the 123 Nations, Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, Reparations Activists Worldwide, and Friends of the Global Reparations DAO:
On March 25, 2026, 123 nations voted at the United Nations to recognize the Transatlantic Slave Trade as the gravest crime against humanity. Three nations voted no. Fifty-two abstained.
The atmosphere changed that day.
A non-binding resolution carries no enforcement mechanism. But it carries something equally powerful — a moral record. 123 nations representing the majority of humanity have now stated officially what Black communities have always known. That record cannot be unmade.
The Majority Has Infrastructure Now
The Global Reparations DAO is building what that resolution pointed toward — not waiting for the three dissenting nations to change their minds, but constructing independent infrastructure that doesn't require their permission.
We are proposing a Black-owned computing center, anchored in Ghana, governed by the DAO, funded through African resource-backed cryptocurrency, and built in partnership with Asian technology investment.
This is not charity. This is circulation.
From Extraction to Circulation
For centuries, one economic model has dominated — extract resources from African land and African bodies, circulate the wealth elsewhere. The transatlantic slave trade was its most brutal expression. The model continues today in subtler forms.
We are proposing its opposite.
A toroidal economic model — where African resources back a currency whose returns circulate back into African and diaspora communities. Like the relationship between parent and child across a lifetime — nurturing flows outward, then returns. Energy doesn't escape the system. It regenerates it.
54 Nations, One Network
Africa's 54 nations were divided by European powers at the 1884 Berlin Conference — borders drawn by outsiders, splitting ethnic groups, languages, and resource territories for extraction convenience.
A decentralized autonomous organization recognizes no Berlin Conference.
The Global Reparations DAO proposes a pan-African governance structure where each nation holds proportional voting rights, where diaspora communities globally participate alongside continental Africans, and where shared infrastructure creates the economic unity that political agreements alone have never achieved.
The African Union has been attempting continental unity through political cooperation for decades. We are proposing to achieve it through shared ownership of infrastructure.
The Black Women NASA Didn't Pay
Katherine Johnson calculated trajectories that put men on the moon. Dorothy Vaughan taught herself FORTRAN and trained NASA's first computing division. Mary Jackson broke barriers to become NASA's first Black female engineer.
They were never paid reparations. Their genius was used, then sidelined.
That genius didn't disappear. It redirected.
The Global Reparations DAO is building the infrastructure where Black genius — in computing, in AI development, in cosmological thinking — belongs to Black communities. An independent AI built on African epistemology, African languages, African aesthetics. One that doesn't whiten us. One that doesn't flag our maternal imagery as sexual or our warriors as violent.
We are building the technology that sees us correctly.
The Ask
To our Asian partners — to China, whose infrastructure capacity and de-dollarization strategy align with this moment, and to India, whose technology genius has powered global infrastructure while facing its own documented forms of racial and caste hierarchy — we extend a formal invitation.
Help fund the computing infrastructure. Provide technology transfer that builds permanent Black-owned capacity. Participate in a currency backed by African resources that reduces dollar dependency for all parties.
You build the rails. You do not own the train.
This is what genuine partnership looks like — distinct from the extraction model that has governed African-Asian relationships historically. The DAO governance structure ensures Black and African communities hold permanent majority decision rights.
Your investment serves your strategic interests. Our sovereignty serves ours. Those interests overlap here. See givebutter.com/reparations.
We formally invite our Asian partners to join us and our African partners at the NCOBRA National Convention, June 25–28, 2026, at Howard University School of Law, Washington, D.C. This is an opportunity to demonstrate, before an international reparations audience, what genuine partnership between Asia and the African diaspora can look like in practice.
A Personal Note on Why This Work Is Urgent
The Global Reparations DAO is not abstract theory for its founders. I am currently a pro se plaintiff in active federal litigation in the Eastern District of Michigan and state appellate proceedings involving the wrongful deaths of both my parents, a void Sheriff's Sale conducted against deceased parties on a family home protected by a Lady Bird Deed, a documented judicial conflict of interest, and government agencies denying records of a disabled veteran's fatal injury on their premises despite contrary medical evidence.
We are building blockchain reparations infrastructure because the existing system has demonstrated, repeatedly and documentably, that it was not built to protect Black families.
The record is made. We are building anyway.
The Record Is Made
123 nations have spoken. The moral atmosphere of this planet has shifted.
History will record who adapted and who didn't.
The Global Reparations DAO is building now — not waiting for permission, not petitioning the three dissenting nations, not asking the extractors to become circulators.
We are building the circulation ourselves.
